:: On every occasion whenever one feels any undue provocation ::

And if (at any time) an incitement to discord is made to thee by the Evil One, seek refuge in Allah. He is the One Who hears and knows all things.
( سورة فصلت , Fussilat, Chapter #41, Verse #36)
The beat commentary of this subject is the event which Imam Ahmad has related in his Musnad on the authority of Hadrat Abu Hurairah. He says that once a man started uttering invectives against Hadrat Abu Bakr, in the presence of the Holy Prophet. Hadrat Abu Bakr kept on hearing the invectives quietly and the Holy Prophet kept on smiling at it. At last, when Hadrat Abu Bakr could restrain himself no longer, he also uttered a harsh word for the person in response. No sooner did he utter the word than the Holy Prophet was seized by restraint, which appeared on his face, and he rose and left the place immediately. Hadrat Abu Bakr also rose and went behind him. On the way he asked, 'How is it that as long as the person went on abusing me, you kept quiet and smiling, but when I also said a word in retaliation, you were annoyed" The Holy Prophet replied, "Until you were quiet an angel remained with you, who went on replying to him on your behalf, but when you spoke out Satan came in place of the angel: I could not sit with Satan. "

Satan feels grieved when he sees that in the conflict between the Truth and falsehood, meanness is being resisted with nobility and evil with goodness. He wants that he should somehow incite the fighters for the sake of the Truth and their prominent men in particular, and especially their leaders, to commit such a mistake, even if once, on the basis of which he may tell the common people that evil is not being committed by one side only: if mean acts are being committed by one side, the people of the other side also are not morally any better: they too have committed such and such a shameless act.

The common people do not have the capability that they may assess and counterbalance fairly the excesses being committed by one party by the reactions of the other. As long as they see that while the opponents are adopting every mean act yet these people do not swerve at all from the path of decency and nobility, goodness and righteousness, they continue to regard and esteem them highly. But if at some time they happen to commit an unworthy act, even if it is in retaliation against a grave injustice, both the sides become equal in their esteem, and the opponents also get an excuse to counter one blamable act with a thousand abuses.

That is why it has been said: 'Be on your guard against the deceptions of Satan. He will incite you as a well wisher to take note of every abuse and every insult and attack and urge you to pay the opponent in the same coin, otherwise you would be regarded as a coward and weaken your image of strength."

On every such occasion whenever you feel any undue provocation, you should take care that this is an incitement of Satan who is arousing you to anger and wants you to commit a mistake. And after having been warned do not be involved in the misunderstanding that you have full control over yourself, and Satan cannot make you commit any mistake. This high opinion of ones own power of judgment and will is another and more dangerous deception of Satan. Instead of it you should seek Allah's refuge, for man can save himself from mistakes only if Allah helps and grants him protection.

:: Should talk what is good or keep quiet ::

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor, and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet. (i.e. abstain from all kinds of evil and dirty talk). (Sahih Bukhari Book #73, Hadith #47)

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who believes in Allah and the Hereafter, if he witnesses any matter he should talk in good terms about it or keep quiet. Act kindly towards woman, for woman is created from a rib, and the most crooked part of the rib is its top. If you attempt to straighten it, you will break it, and if you leave it, its crookedness will remain there. So act kindly towards women. (Sahih Muslim Book #008, Hadith #3468)

:: Why can't we print more money? ::

Assalam Alaikum,

Whenever I teach the topic of money, my innocent 8 years-old pupils would ask me the origin of money. And so, I explained to them the process of money printing. And some smartie ones would ask why can't we print money on our own... That's such a common question but often left unanswered because we don't really know how to explain such complicated issue to a young child...

Now that I think about it, what they are actually asking is, "Why can't we be equal as those money printers? What make them so great that they control the economy?"

Insha'Allah! If I have a chance again to teach this topic, I would tell them about the existence of power in this world and how gold and silver are still reliable~

Something relevant to know in our daily life! =)

:: Don't insist on English! ::

And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge.

( سورة الروم , Ar-Room, Chapter #30, Verse #22)

Tafsir:
That is, "Although your vocal chords are similar, and there is no difference in the structure of the mouth, the tongue and the brains, yet people speak different languages in different regions of the world. Even in the regions where the same language is spoken different dialects are spoken from city to city and from town to town. Moreover, the accent and pronunciation and the style of speech of every person is different from the other.

Similarly, although the semen and the formula of your physical structure is the same, yet your colors are so different that, nations apart, even the color of the two sons of the same parents is not exactly the same.

In this verse, attention has been drawn only to two aspects, but if one looks around one will notice an unite variety everywhere in the world. One will find countless differences in the species of man, animal, plants and other things in spite of the basic uniformity in their different members; so much so that no member of the species is exactly identical with the other. Even the two leaves of a tree are not exactly alike.

This shows that the world is not a factory in which automatic machines might be working and turning out things in mass production bearing the stamp of their own separate species. But in this factory there is a Master-Artist at work, Who gives individual attention to everything and produces it on a new design with new embellishments and proportions and qualities, and everything thus produced is unique in its own way. His inventive genius is turning out a new model of everything every moment, and His creative power abhors repeating the same design the second time.

Anyone who sees this wonderful phenomenon with open eyes, can never be involved in the foolish misconception that the Maker of the universe has gone to sleep after having made it go. This is, on the contrary, a clear proof of the fact that He is ever engaged in His creative activity, and is giving individual attention to each and everything in His creation.

:: NETUREI KARTA ::

Assalam Alaikum,

I was browsing one of the sisters' blog and I saw this website. It's basically informing the public about the 'hijack' of Judaism by the zionists and the basic belief of the Judaism faith and how they are against the zionists from occupying the Palestine state...

Kind of interesting to know! =) Enjoy!

W'salam,
Khadijah C.

The name was given to a group of Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem who refused (and still refuse) to recognize the existence or authority of the so-called "State of Israel" and made (and still make) a point of publicly demonstrating their position, the position of the Torah and authentic unadulterated Judaism.

  • Neturei Karta oppose the so-called "State of Israel" not because it operates secularly, but because the entire concept of a sovereign Jewish state is contrary to Jewish Law.
  • Jews are not allowed to dominate, kill, harm or demean another people and are not allowed to have anything to do with the Zionist enterprise, their political meddling and their wars.
  • The true Jews remain faithful to Jewish belief and are not contaminated with Zionism.
  • The true Jews are against dispossessing the Arabs of their land and homes. According to the Torah, the land should be returned to them.
  • The world must know that the Zionists have illegitimately seized the name Israel and have no right to speak in the name of the Jewish people!

:: Malaysian denounce the construction of factory ::

Assalam Alaikum,

I came upon this news about the construction of a rare earth factory in Malaysia. Looking at the outcome of Japan incident, I personally think that this should not be done. Moreover, the reason for building it in Malaysia is because of cheap labour... At the expense of their health? I don't understand their intention.

Anyway, I shuddered at this sentence...

"If the construction goes ahead, the rare earth factory would become the largest rare earth processing plant in the world."

Well, we got to do something about this...

:: 3 knots by Shaytan ::

Abu Huraira transmitted it from the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him): When any one of you goes to sleep, the devil ties three knots at the back of his neck, sealing every knot with:" You have a long night, so sleep." So if one awakes and mentions Allah, a knot will be loosened; if he performs ablution two knots are loosened; and if he prays (all) knots will be loosened, and in the morning he will be active and in good spirits; otherwise we will be in bad spirits and sluggish in the morning. (Sahih Muslim Book #004, Hadith #1702)

Narrated 'Abdullah : A person was mentioned before the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and he was told that he had kept on sleeping till morning and had not got up for the prayer. The Prophet said, "Satan urinated in his ears." (Sahih Bukhari Book #21, Hadith #245, Shahih Muslim Book#004, Hadith #1700)

:: The Story of Jesus ::

Assalam Alaikum,

A nice series of videos to watch and reflect on similar messages by different significant being of the major religion in the world~

As Allah(SWT) said in the Qur'an...

The Messiah ['Îsa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddiqah [i.e. she believed in the Words of Allah and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).
( سورة المائدة , Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #75)

Verily, We have sent the revelation to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) as We sent the revelation to Nuh (Noah) and the Prophets after him; We (also) sent the revelation to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], 'Îsa (Jesus), Ayyub (Job), Yunus (Jonah), Harun (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon); and to Dawud (David) We gave the Zabur (Psalms).

And Messengers We have mentioned to you before, and Messengers We have not mentioned to you, - and to Musa (Moses) Allah spoke directly.

Messengers as bearers of good news as well as of warning in order that mankind should have no plea against Allah after the (coming of) Messengers. And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.
( سورة النساء , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #163-165)

:: 数百意大利美女听其讲解伊斯兰教 ::

Assalam Alaikum,

Colonel Gaddafi, the once leader of Libya, had a 'party' for Italian ladies while he was there attending an international conference.  As shown in the video, hundreds of ladies were queuing to meet him.

Dress code: No short skirt, no revealing tops but heels are allowed~

Well, just instead of having a fun time partying, this group of ladies were given dawah by Gaddafi, telling them about the rights of women in Islam~ And as a present, each of the ladies was given a Quran!

What should I say... Simply amazing!

:: Ethnocentrism ::

Assalam Alaikum,

I came upon this video posted on facebook.

It's a lecture by Penn State Professor, Sam Richards. He gave a very good perspectives on the motivations of the Americans soldiers and Iraqi residents involving in the wars... Nice one to understand how the world is now~ =)

According to Wikipedia,

"Ethnocentrism is the tendency to believe that one's ethnic or cultural group is centrally important, and that all other groups are measured in relation to one's own. The ethnocentric individual will judge other groups relative to his or her own particular ethnic group or culture, especially with concern to language, behavior, customs, and religion. These ethnic distinctions and sub-divisions serve to define each ethnicity's unique cultural identity."

:: How to defend our Prophets as a muslim ::

Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.
( سورة النحل , An-Nahl, Chapter #16, Verse #125)

If unable to do so... then wish them peace and avoid getting into the dispute with the ignornant and saying things which are untrue... As stated...

And when they hear vain talk, they turn away therefrom and say: "To us our deeds, and to you yours; peace be to you: we seek not the ignorant."
( سورة القصص , Al-Qasas, Chapter #28, Verse #55)

"After the migration to Habash when the news about the Holy Prophet's advent and message spread in that land, a deputation of about twenty Christians came to Makkah to find out the truth, and they met the Holy Prophet in the Masjid-al-Haram A crowd of the Quraish also gathered around them to watch what happened.

The members of the deputation asked the Holy Prophet some questions, which he answered. Then he invited them to accept Islam and recited some verses of the Qur'an before them. When they heard the Qur'an, tears came down from their eyes and they confirmed its being Allah's Word and believed in the Holy Prophet.

When the meeting was over and the people left, Abu Jahl and some of his men overtook them on the way, and rebuked them severely, saying, "Never has a more stupid company come here before: O foolish men you were sent here by your people with a view to inquiring about this man. but no sooner did you meet him than you gave up your own faith!"

Those gentle people answered, "Peace be to you! We have no wish to enter all argument with you: you are responsible for your faith and we are for ours: we cannot afford to deprive ourselves knowingly of goodness."
