To the anomynous reader of mine, Jazakallah Khair for sharing this video with me! =D
The video is about the pious muslim being Ghuraba-s (strangers), in this worldly life because of how different they live, compared to the majority~
I googled it and trying to find its significance and I came to this website.
"The Ghuraba' are strange to their religion in the sense that they become strange simply because they are holding on strong to al-Haq and are istiqomah with it. They are strange because their ratio of existence amongst the society are very rare. Their insights, ideology, activities, and even appearance perhaps are deemed as abnormal, hence strange. So it could be said that the Ghuraba' are the crème de la crème of the ummah."
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Islam initiated as something strange, and it would revert to its (old position) of being strange. so good tidings for the stranger. (Book #001, Hadith #0270)
Personally, I find the video 'too harsh' with its literal words like, 'soldier','battle'... But I'll take it from the softer side of its meaning... Then again, when I looked at other videos, they are more disturbing with people holding weapons and stuff... Can see soOoo much hatred and oppression in them~ (Maybe it's propaganda of the nortorious "T" group) ScCcccaAarRryYyyy~
We muslim should showing less violence and more soft feelings, like compassionate and forgiving... That was how Prophet Yusuf and Prophet Muhammad would react... They have soOoo much moral in them that they would rather forgive than to go into violence... They did not go into war, with their own wish and thinking, right? It was commanded by Allah(SWT) himself~
Oh well, then again, we are living in this era that Islam is a "strange" religion again... It's not that we are strange... It's the human thinking and psychology that are getting "stranger"...
I know, we do not have our dearest Prophet Muhammad (SAAW), but we have more muslims followers than his time... It's just that we need more quality, not quantity now~
Again, it's just a point of view~ =)
